Most dating photos feel off because they’re built like portraits, not real moments. The pose is too rigid, the angle is too controlled, or the image feels like it was created instead of experienced.
We focus on natural interaction and real-world framing. This means how someone actually sees you walking up, sitting across from them, or in motion. The result is photos that feel believable, not constructed.
THE LOOK
We shoot primarily on a 35mm lens, which feels closer to natural human perspective than traditional tight portrait lenses. It creates a more honest sense of space and presence. We avoid “studio portrait” signals, while capturing “this is how you actually appear in the world.”

You won’t need to know how to pose or do anything in front of the camera. We’ll guide you through everything in a way that feels natural and easy, so it never feels stiff or awkward.
Just show up. We’ll handle the rest and make sure you end up with photos that actually feel like you.
A 100% free styling consultation video call is included for all 3 Look and 6 Look sessions. In this call, we select your outfits and decide whether any additional clothing items need to be purchased before the shoot.
We will schedule your styling consultation via email or text after you book your shoot date.
The day of your shoot, I will send you an itemized list of all the items we chose during the Styling Consultation to ensure we don’t forget anything!
The point of view of a dating profile photo is often overlooked. During our shoot, I’ll both pose you and choose angles very intentionally to emulate how a woman would see you in real life. Whether that means checking you out from far away, or sitting at a table with you enjoying a laugh, she’ll be able to easily imagine herself sharing that moment with you.
There’s a common saying in the photography industry that the lens you use matters much more than your camera. This is because different lenses can completely change the structure of an image.
I primarily use a 35 mm lens which is much wider (less zoomed-in) than a standard 85 mm “portrait lens”. This makes the photos feel more intimate and less like they are looking at you through a telescope. The 35 mm also reduces the feeling that the photos are overly professional and manicured.
For reference, a standard iPhone camera on 1x uses a 24 mm lens, so the photos we’ll take are much more similar in feel to photos she’s used to seeing in day to day life— just WAY better!
We’ll decide on location together right after booking.
I have several standard locations in my repertoire where I take most of my clients. Each one has a significant amount of variety to ensure distinct looks between outfits.

All photos are delivered within 7 days of the photoshoot. Once your photos are ready, I’ll you a link to the photo portfolio in Google Drive for easy access and download.
