How it works
1. Audit
We’ll meet for your Free Profile Audit where we’ll review your profile or current pictures and determine exactly what’s holding you back.
2. Capture
You’ll meet with one our certified Fresh Image photographers at the selected location for the shoot. Multiple scenes and outfit changes every 15–20 minutes.
3. Build & Launch
A week after the shoot we’ll take the new photos and build your new profile together. We’ll also look for quick wins with improvements to your caption and prompts.

You won’t need to know how to pose or do anything in front of the camera. We’ll guide you through everything in a way that feels natural and easy, so it never feels stiff or awkward.
Just show up. We’ll handle the rest and make sure you end up with photos that actually feel like you.
Every shoot includes our Fresh Image Styling Guide — a curated breakdown of what works on camera, what to avoid, and how to put together outfits that look natural and intentional without overthinking it. For most guys, the guide is all they need.
If you’d rather have hands-on help, we can set you up with a complimentary styling appointment at Nordstrom. A personal stylist will walk you through outfit selection in-store, with the Fresh Image Method in mind. There’s no obligation to buy anything, and the appointment itself is free.
Either way, you’ll know exactly what to wear and bring on the day of your shoot.
The point of view of a dating profile photo is often overlooked. During our shoot, I’ll both pose you and choose angles very intentionally to emulate how a woman would see you in real life. Whether that means checking you out from far away, or sitting at a table with you enjoying a laugh, she’ll be able to easily imagine herself sharing that moment with you.
There’s a common saying in the photography industry that the lens you use matters much more than your camera. This is because different lenses can completely change the structure of an image.
I primarily use a 35 mm lens which is much wider (less zoomed-in) than a standard 85 mm “portrait lens”. This makes the photos feel more intimate and less like they are looking at you through a telescope. The 35 mm also reduces the feeling that the photos are overly professional and manicured.
For reference, a standard iPhone camera on 1x uses a 24 mm lens, so the photos we’ll take are much more similar in feel to photos she’s used to seeing in day to day life— just WAY better!

Fresh Image has a set of go-to locations across Austin. Each is chosen for variety with different backdrops, vibes, and settings within a single spot, so your outfit changes feel like genuinely distinct looks rather than the same photo in different clothes.

All photos are delivered within 7 days of the photoshoot. Once your photos are ready, you’ll receive a link to the photo portfolio for easy access and download.
